Fly-in Information

CHECK NOTAMS – TFRS – Bring your won Tie Downs

The NREE committee is thrilled you may fly in and visit our show, which we think is the best airshow value in the country. In the interest of safety and convenience we’ve made a few changes this year.

ONLY RADIAL ENGINED AIRCRAFT WILL BE DISPLAYED THIS YEAR. In recent years we’ve invited classic and home built aircraft to join us in the display area, but this year we won’t have room due to the several special aircraft on display. We hope to include these special aircraft in future years in some way, but for now JUST RADIAL ENGINED AIRCRAFT IN THE DISPLAY AREA – old runway 27.

We plan a break in the closure about noon for 30 minutes this year for those of you that need to leave early. Please check NOTAMs for exact times. Those of you who need to leave early MUST park in the visitor parking and NOT in the display area. Aircraft parked in the display area MUST stay until the show is over. This is a safety issue as we will not move aircraft from the display area near our guests. So, even if you are flying in with a Radial engine aircraft, but want to leave at noon, please park in the visitor parking as directed by the CAP Cadets and you can leave during the break. Remember our show will close about 3:00 PM or shortly after, so there should be plenty of time to make it home after the show. It’s been our experience that the display area will clear very quickly.

Planned closure on show day Saturday, September 11, is 10:45 AM to 12:00 and 12:30 to 3:15. CHECK NOTAMS AS PUBLISHED

ALSO Closure for practice Friday, September 10, is 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM CHECK NOTAMS AS PUBLISHED

Two additional short closures for military survey of the site Thursday Sept 9 and Monday Sept 13 will also be published.

Please be patient with our parking volunteers, there is a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time and back-taxiing the runway may be required so be safe both in the pattern, on the runway and in the parking areas. In all cases please shut down and DON’T attempt to park under power, there will be plenty of help to push your aircraft into its assigned parking spot.

And just a reminder for those not displaying radial-engined aircraft.....our admission fee is $5 for adults and $1 for kids 14 and under.....
